District brings together fitness, exploration and technology into a new, exciting package.
Integrating Augmented Reality gameplay within an immersive, checkpoint based urban exploration race, District creates a whole new angle to encourage people to get outside and explore their cities.
We were approached with the challenge of coming up with a name and identity that was exciting to both fitness and tech aware demographics but not necessarily specific to both.
Our process led us to develop a brand that would stand out in the industry and reset the bar for the future of fitness events.
At the heart of the identity is the District navigator icon. A star that also sets direction with the District D as its focus.
As well as the brand work we supplied, District needed a website which could explain the concept, sell the events and inform participants of everything they needed to know before and after each event.
We built them a new site on the Laravel framework, ensuring flexibility for any future requirements and a fast, secure site for launch.
The site is, of course, responsive across all screen formats allowing users to easily access information whether sat at their desk or on the move, on their tablet or mobile.
Since brand activation and site go live, we have continued to work closely with the District team helping them to launch races in both Singapore and Hong Kong.
As well as the usual hosting and site support, we have created social media campaigns and content and worked with their partners on design implementation in new locations.
