Submerge is a UK based digital arts production and events company, working with artists to produce immersive experiences at the intersection of performance, music and creative technology. We were approached to develop an encompassing identity for their company along with visuals for their latest festival, Bristol International Digital Arts Festival.
For the encompassing identity we went with a monotone palette so as not to distract away from the projects that happen under the Submerge brand. This also created flexibility with Submerge assets being able to be re-used across multiple projects to compliment, not clash with their visuals.
Whilst developing the brand and understanding how they wanted to grow the company it was clear to make sure Submerge as a concept could hold itself on it is own.
One thing that needed updating was their domain name and after exploring the foundations of what Submerge was we settled on the idea and tagline of "Submerge me". We were able to acquire the domain submerge.me which pulled everything together and led us to run a campaign #submergeme.
Submerge: BIDAF 2019 (Bristol International Digital Arts Festival) is a bold and diverse programme of immersive shows, installations and experiences which challenge the senses. Follow their encompassing re-brand we were asked to create the branding for this years festival.
